4K/8K Monitoring

S24 supports 12G-SDI signal link 4K signal,3G-SDI quad-link 4K signal, and quad-link 12G-SDI 8K signal (combine four 4K 60Hz video signals into one 8K 60Hz video signal). Just a single device can meet the whole workflow requirements from broadcast studio live streaming to multi-view monitoring, reducing the system construction complexity and cable costs.

Equipped with a 23.8-inch ultra HD large screen, supports 3840x2160 4K resolution, with a pixel density that is four times that of Full HD, resulting in a more detailed picture quality. Providing a 105% NTSC color gamut, more realistically restores the colors of the image, comparable to cinema-level picture quality, and with a 178°(H/V) wide viewing angle, almost no color difference at any angle.

Colorized Exposure--EL ZONE System

An important new addition to S24, the EL Zone system, which was designed by cinematographer Ed Lachman, ASC, is an innovative tool for displaying exposure values using stops. EL Zone is similar to false color; however, it allows for higher precision, greater consistency, and more intuitive on-set communication.
EL Zone is designed for camera operators, who can see the true and precise scene-referred dynamic range, colorized in stops, directly from the camera. It’s ideal for assessing exposure in both HDR and SDR production. An established industry standard, it’s the best way to see colorized exposure on a monitor. 

Load Custom 3D LUTs, Preview Filming Look in Field Shooting

Supports uploading 50 custom LUTs
The LUT loading function makes the color calibration easier and more intuitive, optimizes the workflow, and improves the work efficiency in the early stage of shooting. You could use built-in LOG or upload .cube files, define your own creative cinematic style Whatever you like. The user stores the LUT document in the root directory of the USB flash drive, and insert to USB interface of the device (up to 50 custom files can be imported).

Professional Audio Meter

The monitor can de-embed audio from SDI and HDMI. Support select any 2 channels of audio to output via 3.5mm headphone jack. Under SDI audio, it supports max 16-ch embedded audio meters display. Under HDMI audio, there are 4 channels audio displays are supported.

Flexible and Intuitive Button Operation

When you are busy at the shooting scene, you need to be able to easily control the equipment, and the S24 is perfect for you. You can switch the signal source with one key; three customizable shortcut keys (F1~F5) allow you to pre-assign frequently used functions based on actual shooting needs; the USER key allows you to preset 5 groups of menu Users, enabling faster adjustments and improving on-set efficiency.

12G-SDI/4K HDMI Signal

Equipped with 12G-SDI, 12G SFP, and HDMI 2.0 interfaces, it can support up to 4096x2160P(60/50/30/29.97/25/24/23.98Hz）and 3840x2160P（60/59.94/50/30/29.97/25/24/23.98Hz) signals. In addition, S24 also provides LAN, RS485, and GPI control interfaces to meet different needs.
12G SFP interface, which allows to transmit 12-SDl signal via SFP optical fiber module, is suitable for most broadcast fields (Fiber module is optional).

Dynamic UMD

S24 supports UMD of TSL 3.1/4.0 protocol, with 0-126 TSL address selection, and Max 16 letters displayed. The UMD inputs via RS485 port and outputs via RS485 port.

Tally Indicator, Enhance Team Cooperation

GPI controls Red Tally and Green Tally, which not only can remind the photographer to enter the recording state, but also appreciate the convenience of TV shooting quasi-professional technology in your creation.

Remote Control Software for Mac and Windows

Multiple Power Supply, Long-lasting Power for Shooting

You can use the accompanying power cord to connect AC power input or use a DC 12V/7.5A power adapter to connect XLR power input to get continuous power. You can also install a V-mount battery on the V-mount battery plate for mobile applications.
