Overview

Add a versatile and ultrabright monitor to your studio or on-location production kit with the SH7 7" On-Camera Monitor. The daylight-viewable 1920 x 1200 Full HD IPS screen features a peak brightness of 2200 cd/m² and touchscreen menu operation. Easily convert an HDMI signal to SDI and vice versa via the HDMI and SDI inputs and outputs, and add a LUT to your image for real-time monitoring on the go. The monitor may be powered using an optional power supply with a barrel connector or with separately available L-series batteries for enhanced mobility.

Ideal for directors, focus pullers, and video switching operators, the SH7 is packed with useful on-set functions such as waveform, vectorscope, audio meter monitoring, horizontal and vertical image flip, center and safety markers, and full support for HDR monitoring and 3D LUTs. The unit comes with a Mini/Micro-HDMI to HDMI cable, a tilt arm, and a handy wrench.

SDI Timecode Supporting

SH7 supports time code display under the SDI signal, which is synchronization with the camera. It is particularly convenient to identify specific frame rates in film and video production.

HDMI and SDI Cross Conversion, Easy to Handle Various Applications

SH7 built-in signal cross conversion allows you to convert an HDMI signal to an SDI signal or an SDI signal to an HDMI signal. You can easily convert signals and don't need the additional converters. It can be used for various broadcasting and live production.

The LUT loading function makes the color calibration easier and more intuitive, optimizes the workflow, and improves the work efficiency in the early stage of shooting. You could use built-in LOG or upload .cube files. SH7 allows you to load internally up to 50 custom LUTs, looks, or profiles at any time via the SD Card Slot and instantly select between them, maintaining creative intent, always.

3D LUT Loop-out

HDMI/SDI can output the video or image with a 3D LUT effect. When you are live streaming, you can connect the SH7 output as a live broadcast image to add a cinematic; when shooting on-set, you can output the image with LUT to the director or client for real-time monitoring by connecting a wireless device to strengthen teamwork.

When the HDR function is turned on, you can select Gamma and Gamut corresponding to the cameras Sony, Canon, Panasonic, Fujifilm, Bolex, RED, and ARRI.

Built-in waveform monitoring, you can choose from waveform (RGB Parade, YUV Parade, Y Parade), vector scope, histogram, audio phase, and level displays, and get broadcast accurate waveform monitoring that shows everything you need to know technically about your video and audio signals. The functions can be opened separately, and also support one key to open all scope modes. SH7 becomes the ideal choice for live production monitoring, so you no longer need to use separate expensive scopes!

SDI and HDMI Input and Output
Compatible with movie cameras, DSLR cameras

SDI is perfect for the movie cameras, and HDMI is easy to connect with a DSLR or mirrorless camera. Connect to an external display via the output port, allowing the director and photographer to monitor synchronously. And provides a 3.5mm headphone jack to monitor audio.
Note: The HDMI output resolution of the camera needs to support 1920x1080 or Auto mode.

A Sony F970 external install and power kit design is added to the back of the monitor. The external kit can be used to install and install the external equipment, like wireless transmission, LED light, video converter, and others that can be powered by a Sony F970 battery. This innovative external power supply design meets the need for power for external wireless transmission, LED light, and other equipment, greatly saving the space occupied by the equipment and reducing the weight of photography equipment.

DC Power Input and Output

The SH7 is not only equipped with DC IN 12V (suitable for use 12/1.5A adapter), but also provides auxiliary power out (DC OUT 8V), allowing shooters to power their cameras. With a battery adapter cable (Optional), the SH7 extends camera run-time while providing a more usable display.

The rear of the monitor of SH7 has a battery plate, which can install a standard NP-F battery, not need power for your bright screen when shooting. Install one F970 battery (6600mAh) lasts for about 3 hours.
